Ordering
What is the minimum order?
Order minimums depend on the size and how far the delivery runs. Send the sizes and quantities you need through the quote form and we will confirm what works for your site.
Can I get samples before committing to an order?
Yes. Request a sample through the contact form and tell us which sizes you are considering, and we will arrange for units to be made available.
Do you price differently for large or repeat orders?
Volume and repeat-contract pricing is quoted per project rather than published, because it depends on sizes, phasing and delivery distance. Ask for it in the quote form.
Delivery
Do you deliver to site?
Yes, we deliver. Include the site location in your enquiry and we will confirm whether it falls inside our delivery range and what access the vehicle needs.
What access does the delivery vehicle need?
A loaded vehicle needs a firm surface and room to turn. If the approach is narrow, steep or unsurfaced, tell us in advance so we can plan the drop point rather than discovering it on the day.
How far ahead should I place an order?
Lead time moves with the season and with how much is already in the yard. Ask when you enquire and we will give you the current position rather than a standing figure.

Which size should I use for a load-bearing wall?
The section depth needed depends on the load and span, which is a decision for the engineer on your project. Our 8×8×12 is the heaviest section in the range, with 6×8×12 below it. Take the sizes to your engineer rather than choosing on rule of thumb.
What is the curved brick for?
The 5×8×12 curved unit is cast on an arc for circular well shafts. Because the curve is cast in, the radial joints close without cutting units on site.
Are the blocks solid or hollow?
The units shown are solid cast. If you need a hollow or cored variant for a specific application, ask — tell us the application and we will tell you whether we can supply it.
Do the blocks need plastering?
The cast face is open-textured, which keys plaster well. Whether a wall is plastered, rendered or left fair-faced is a specification decision for your project.
On site
How should blocks be stacked and stored on site?
Stack on firm level ground, keep the stacks square and off wet soil, and avoid stacking so high that the lower courses take damage. Cover them if the units will sit for a long spell before use.
What happens if units arrive damaged?
Check the load on arrival and flag any damage at the point of delivery rather than after the vehicle has left, so it can be recorded and resolved.
